We all love to attend NASCAR races, and we admire the courage of the drivers, but every so often there is a spectacular crash, and the world sits up and takes notice. On this page we salute the brave drivers of NASCAR over the years, for their valor and resilience in the most dangerous sport in the world!
Probably the most famous NASCAR crash of all time was that which killed racecar hero Dale Earnhardt in the 2001 Daytona 500. Earnhadt was one of NASCAR's most accomplished drivers, but when he hit turn 4 that fateful day, it was like the spirit of NASCAR was put on hold, as the entire auto racing world stood still. Whenever a driver crashes, there's always increased interest in merchandise associated with them, causing it to rise in value. We collect NASCAR jackets and NASCAR diecast on this site, but we don't condone people making money from the deaths of talented young racers. It's a symptom of modern society that some will always financially exploit the death of NASCAR legends, but the races are dangerous, and that's why many people love 'em. Unfortunately, many of our most talented sons perish in a ball of flames while the whole world gasps.
